Fellini

Last night we watched a DVD of Federico Fellini's "Satyricon" (Italy 1969)..It is an unbelievably beautiful film to look at...Photographed by Giuseppe Rotuno, is possibly one of the most gorgeous colour films I ever seen.
Naturally the copyright belongs to MGM, I only show these pictures for educational and admirational purposes.

  2. I was also knocked out by the colour when I first saw this film - also the surreal imagery, especially those shots of the box-shaped boat.

  3. Yeah, I watched this for the first time last year & was blown away by the photography & surreal imagery too. The boat scene with the rotten whale is mind blowing.

    ¡Qué recuerdos, Oscar! 1973, el cine Mignon donde apenas se veían sombras moviéndose en la pantalla. La mina que había invitado (para dármelas de intelectual) rajó espantada creyéndome un pervertido y a la salida me cruzo con otra conocida, tomamos un café y nos enamoramos. La juventud...¡qué lo parió!

  5. Yes, Rebeckit..Funny, I didn't realise how wonderful it was in 1970, when I saw this movie for first time.

    Roberto. Que curioso. la primer pelicula que fui a ver con quien hoy es mi esposa de 38 años fue "Giulietta degli Spirti"
