El Maestro
I want to give a taste of the art of one of the most extraordinary artists living today. The Uruguayan Hermenegildo "Menchi" Sábat. Menchi honours me with his friendship of forty years. Enjoy these caricatures of Charlie Christian, Egon Schiele and Gustav Klimt. Very soon I'll do an extensive posting of the work of this great artist.

Brilliant man, I own an original sketch he did of a fellow cartoonist friend of mine, one of my most beloved possessions. Can't wait to see your 'homenaje'.

vaya Oscar crei que el trabajo de Menchi de tantos años era un poco mas conocido en el exterior, a juzgar por las reacciones estan descubriendo el mundo o los mundos de este maravilloso genio. muy bueno esto. trabaje años con un tipo que me enseño muchas de estas cosas: el vasco Arruabarrena, que a su vez fue socio en un estudio ARS (Arruabarrena, Sabat & Rousselot) con el vasco nos dabamos panzadas de estos genios y de vez en cuando aparecia Menchi.
