His masterful use of negative space and bold contrast is uncanny, in comics they call it "spotting the blacks".
And that swirling, twirling brush dancing across the white of the page, Whew! I'm dizzy.

You see, Alberto, it is like a magician's wand creating make-believe with lines. You put certain lines on a piece of paper and make us see the women we desire, in his drawings he makes us believe we see the bourgeoisie he detested and we detest them on his behalf (Jacob was an anarchist)
