His work in the sixties used to send shivers down my spine. A great and forgotten graphic hero. Next time you'll visit me I'll take you to my local library. They have the complete collection of graphis annual and there are lots of works by Landau. These pictures are taken from Xeroxes I've made there. Our world, mesmerised by Krickfalusis and Mihazakis, is made poorer by the ignorance of geniuses like Landau and others of his kind.

I just looked him up.
There is a lot of his work online.
He only died in 2001.

No lo conocía. Me parece una barbaridad. Es curioso, pero apenas ví estos dibujos pensé que tenían una onda judía.
A propósito de judíos, don Grillo, usted conoce los dibujos "serios" de Poch, el de "Temas Porteños" de la revista Ptoruzú?

Si, naturalmente conozco los trabajos de Poch...Creo que sus hijas tienen un sitio con esos trabajos. Dos grandes artistas judios del siglo veinte, y de la linea de Landau, son Ben Shahn y Jack Levine, de quienes he colgado obras en este mismo blog.
