Charles Dana Gibson

Gibson in 1896 in Lautrec's territory. See Aristde Bruant's poster in one wall, and "Boneless" Valentin in the Moulin Rouge picture. The other two belong to a London's "carnet".

I suposse is Guillot pen with brush for the filled blacks. I have three books by Gibson, They where published in th late 1890's, very large and with a production to kill for, excellent paper, reproduction, etc......Where are now the publishers that could publish proper books?....(Where are the artists?)

This artist is unreal.

The quality of new artists work is nothing compared to stuff from a little whiles back.

I think a lot of people are distracted with different interests nowadays

a este lo conozco bastante, y es
una bestia, aún muchos lo chorrean, la expresion de las mujeres y los chicos, me es dificil recordar autores que los hayan hecho así de vistosos en esa epoca y después tambien, un absoluto genio.
