I think I draw because the impact these comics had on me when I read them as a boy of four published as "Little Big Books". Unforgetable!

Interesting... I kind can see this comics in Grillo's drawings. The same proportion between characters, background and art frame. The same way to deal with volume and final art lines balance. Even the favorite colors look quite similar.
Apparently in the mind of young Oscarito pink cheeks, Tagliaferro printed some visual roots.
By the way, I am starting a campaign to Grillo film animations have been distributed in same way. I really would love to have a DVD with Grillo’s shorts, musical clips and commercials to appreciate and study.

Accepting that I am not as good as wonderful Mr Tagliaferro, I think you may be right, Ceu. I believe I use spatial elements in my work that have resonances of these comics. And I also love the "Sunday Supplement" use of colour. I adore Carl Barks sense of narrative but I prefer Tagliaferro as an artist.
The Work of Tagliaferro, and also Floyd Gotfredson are excellent points of departure for those who like Herge's "Ligne Claire", but with added "sex appeal".

My animation is not collected and will never be. I feel it was something that happened a million years ago and was done by other person that's not me anymore.

Abrazo.

A mi tambien Gotfredson me copa.
