Pirosmani
A frame from"Pirosmani" directed by Georgi Shengelaya in 1971. The art director of the film, Avtandil Varasi, played the part of the artist.
We rented this film and showed it in a Soho projection room to some invited guests, the Quay Brothers amongst them. To show their appreciation for the invitation, the brothers gave me a book with this gorgeous inscription.

que cocecha la del 71, sino mirame..., bueh tambien se hicieron buenas peliculas para evitar pensar en mi natalicio.
