More golden oldies.
PUNCH used to lie on tables in well-thumbed heaps in the dentist's waiting-room: Pleasure before pain.
Now you get HELLO magazine.
One of these graphic gems reminds of something I read in PUNCH - can't remember the writer - it went something like this:
"As she grows older Brigitte Bardot begins to resemble Jeanne Moreau. Meanwhile Jeanne Moreau begins to resemble Simone Signoret. While Simone Signoret is looking more and more like Jean Gabin."

Just this once the dreaded word can be used in earnest...AWESOME drawings.

I am glad you enjoy then, Nick. Keep coming for more goodies.

Limbó: you and I have the same dentist!!!!....I loved Sherriffs for years...Geoff Dunbar gave me a wonderful children's book illustrated by him and Sherriffs was as good with colour as he was with lines.. There are some of his caricatures in the National Portrait Gallery.
