Del Castillo

These works are by the Chilean Jorge Perez Del Castillo, brother of the better known Arturo Del Castillo. He was born in 1923 in Chillan, Chile and died in 1997 in Argentina. His drawings were wonderfully ethereal and relaxed. He was able to work around text heavy literary adaptations and managed to make it look easy on the eye. We, young art students, used to love his work and secretly preferred him to graphic giants such as Pratt and Breccia.
