Magazine
Reading the Royal Academy magazine I decided to scan the images I found most interesting...It's a pitty I had to leave behind the photos of beautiful Rodin's sculptures from his upcoming exhibition. Next time perhaps.

Garaycochea 2
These are recent paintings by Carlos Garaycochea. The reproductions are from a catalogue of an exhibition he had in Buenos Aires last year. The originals are quite large acrylics with vibrant colours and splendid compositions. A feast to the eye.
Garaycochea never seems to stop evolving. An example to all of us.

Carlos Garaycochea
These drawings from the late 50's are by Carlos Garaycochea (Buenos Aires, 1928)
Garaycochea was my art teacher. I haven't enough words to express my affection, gratitude and admiration for this great artist, great teacher and great guy. I am still honoured by his friendship and I am very pleased to say that after almost 47 years he still teaches cartooning to new generations of young artists

Jean-Marc Reiser
is when we fart"
-PRRRT..."HMMM"..."AHHHH"
"It seems to be sordid to start with...
-But if we look at it from an optimistic point of view....."
"I noticed that women are not afraid of saussages...They are not afraid of dicks...Even less of dicks that look like saussages. That's why something bothers me. A saussage coming out of the underpants scares them a lot..I can't understand a thing."
Jean-Marc Reiser (13/04/1941 - 5/11/1983, France)
A true anarchist and a wonderful artist.
